"The following troubleshooting options are available"

I was trying to add some delay to a guitar track and Cubase crashed, this has happened before. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete then on restart I get the attached message. Which option should I choose? Mike

As is

Thank you. Still not sure why it’s crashing though.

Mike

You can analyze your crashdumb.
Check this:

Thanks for that. To be honest I’m not there yet and half of that means nothing to me. I find half the problem is the terminology. I watch these videos on how to do things and when I try to do it the options they mention are never there. I’ve never used a more trying bit of software. What I do know is, when I try to chage the delay time in the 2nd of the stereo delays, I want the value to be 0.25 but cannot get it below 25.0 and then it crashes unless I click on Esc? Mike

Which VST are you using for the delay? Is it a stock one coming from Steinberg or a third-party one?

Hi m.c. it’s the one that comes with Cubase Elements 13.

I see. In this case, it would be good to follow @almaelectronix 's advice and post here the crash dump. There are users that can analyze it and probably report it to Steinberg.

Can only get it to 25.0 or 0. no inbetween

I think I’m being stupid, it’s 25.0 I want. Thank you for your patience. Mike

Just checked it on CB Elements 13 here (version 0.41) and I can properly change the delay 2 ms. No crash…

Thanks again. All ok here now till my next disaster
