The Grand 3 was released in 2008? A software antique

To bring it back to the point of the Grande as well*

At the bare minimum FLexphraser should be brought into the fold.
Possibly the edition of something akin to the swarm feature of Native instruments would be amazing. That engine is incredible.
Anything update to the Grande at this point would be welcome

It is mind boggling to me that Steinberg still lists this on their website with an MSRP of $200. At $200 US credits you could buy PianoTeq Studio I think.

While it’s good that it’s been updated to handle the new dongle-free licenser system, listening to it, I’m not impressed by the product. Isn’t “The Grand 4” about 15 years late in arriving?

Has there been even one new piano since then? Any thought of adding modern mic position, damper, lid, and dynamics engines to this aged and basically obsolete product?

There have been better piano VSTs and libraries given away free, perhaps it’s best to just put this one out to pasture.

Is Steinberg planning to release “The Grand 4” with modern features and improved sound quality, given that “The Grand 3” feels outdated and overpriced compared to current piano VSTs?
