I’ve really been hoping to see this menu change… Having to find the item you’re looking for… only being able to select one at a time having to re-open the menu each time…. It makes setting up MediaBay a total PITA.
What would make much more sense, is adding this menu to the MediaBay right zone next to the tabs ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Defined’:
The user should also be able to store column setup presets… For example, I would have a preset for data editing/organizing everything, then a essentials preset, a video game assets preset, etc, etc. I’m looking and editing different things depending on the project type or task.
The presets should also store the order of the columns in MediaBay. LoopBrowser, SoundBrowser, MediaBay could have separate presets.
Also, there should be search filter boxes for these menus… ‘Set up Columns’, ‘Dynamic’, and ‘Defined’ should all have a search filter box, so that users can quickly find exactly what they are looking for.
