I have a question regarding the new VST3 deesser.
I noticed that old projects running the PPC version do not load the new one automatically. Also, the SPL logo is gone.
Does it mean this is a new algorithm no longer endorsed by SPL or is it actually the same?. Not a problem for me as I think the new one sounds better and is much much more stable but I was just wondering…
Does anybody know anything about it?

the VST3 DeEsser has nothing to do with the old VST2 SPL DeEsser. That’s why the logo is missing
and that’s also why there is no male/female switch anymore.
