The question: automation of "program change" for Ambox in Cubase 14 by midi track

Dear all!

I’m using the ampbox VST2 plugin in Cubase 14. I’m sending a MIDI automation track with program change values to it, but nothing happens. The plugin isn’t automating. Could you tell me what I’m doing wrong? Maybe you could create a short tutorial with screenshots on setting up ampbox automation for program change?

Hi,

Do you really send an automation, or do you send the Program Change MIDI Message from the Key/List Editor? Could you attach a screenshot?

Add the MIDI Monitor MIDI Insert to see if the Program Change MIDI Message has been sent out.

Is the Ampbox VST2 plugin capable of reacting to Program Change messages?

The Ampbox user manual describes how to assign presets to Program Change messages.
