The second ending disappeared.

When we create first and second endings for two instruments played by the same performer, the software does not display the second ending in page view.

I can confirm. If the instrument change occurs later, the second ending shows, however!

P.S.: Welcome to the forum, Fabio!

Welcome to the forum!

What version of Dorico are you using? (edit: nevermind, missed the Dorico6 tag there). I don’t know if this behavior is intentional, but in Dorico 6 you can fix it by going to Layout options>Staves and systems>System-attached items, set that to Specific players and check Repeats for that player:

Before:

After:

You’ll have to do that for the Part layout as well (in which case you’ll have to check all other boxes as well, or else they won’t show).

Good find, but we shouldn’t have to do this…

Agreed, which is why I mentioned I don’t know if this is intentional. I just tested this in Dorico 5 and it’s not happening there.

It has been discussed here, and the team is aware of the issue:

One of the laws of this forum: whenever you think you came up with something clever, @johnkprice has probably beat you to it.

Thank you all for your responses. Just to clarify, I’m using Dorico 6. This behavior only occurs in this specific situation. If you write the instrument change in different bars, the second ending appears normally. Anyway, the solution provided by @Zalde worked perfectly. Thank you.
