Why is the initial screen of SpectraLayers not centered but displayed on the far right? This makes it difficult to use and view. Is there any way to make it open centered by default?
You can click and hold on the left side of this box and drag it all the way to the right. This will allow you to see and work on the entire song.
If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, you can scroll up and down as needed. I use this feature all the time.

I mainly work in film and television post-production, and there may be dozens or even hundreds of clips to process. If I have to operate like this every time, I think it will make things very troublesome

We may be talking past each other, but what I’m describing is part of the navigation system in SpectraLayers – and it’s lightning fast.
I use a Logitech MX Master 3S mouse which also has a thumbwheel…
MacOS:
– Zoom in/out in time – use the mouse scroll wheel
– Forward and backward in the file when in zoom mode – use the thumbwheel
– Zoom in/out in frequency – ´command´ + scrollwheel
– Up and down in the frequency range when in zoom mode – ´option´ + scrollwheel

I just think it could clearly be simpler and more intuitive. They know it, but aren’t willing to change.
I think any mouse will do
