the treatment of ossia

Hello,

I could not find a way to do followings:

1. hiding the middle of ossia
2. erasing the middle of ossia

Is it possible?
Alternatively, expending/shrinking the signpost is the only way to change the length of ossia?

Moreover, the signpost at the end of a flow disappears:

The visibility of the ossia is determined by the signposts that correspond to the start and end of the staff’s visibility. You can choose Edit > Staff > Remove Staff to hide the ossia again, and hide and show it at any point.
