Where are those? I’ve looked enough now, so it’s time to ask.
They show up in time signatures like “q=72” or “e=144” etc.
Where are those q’s and e’s defined? Under what heading or subheading, etc, or page number or ??
I know I’ve seen them, but I can’t find where.

They are used in tempo marks (for the metronome value), tuplet ratios, and when adding or removing beats.
