Thicker ledger lines?

I have some music with a lot of ledger lines, that can be somewhat difficult to quickly. Elaine Gould (2011, p. 26) recommends “that ledger lines are visibly thicker than stave-lines so that a player reading a passage of ledger-line notes can take in the number of ledger lines at a glance.”

It appears that Dorico does not print ledger lines thicker by default, but is this perhaps something that can be adjusted globally?

Thanks a lot!

Interestingly, it appears that Gould follows her own advice on thicker ledger lines mainly in the relevant section, but nevertheless I do find the very high/low pitches in that section more easy to read.

You can set adjust this at Engraving Options > Notes > Ledger Lines > Line thickness.

Ah, great, thanks a lot. (I did look there before, but somehow missed it…)
