Thickness of grace note slurs

I’ve tried to slightly increase the thickness of grace note slurs ( by going into ctl 8) but I end up getting the slur to look like its been done with a i/2 inch paint brush. Any advise please? Thanks

I’m not sure what Ctl 8 is in your case, but have you looked at Engraving options/slurs/Design/Thickness?

Edit: Now I see you were talking about Grace note slurs as your title clearly says.

In engrave mode if you select a slur and the press ctl+8 it bring up a menu which allows you to adjust the thickness of slurs. I tried various settings and only get big, fat slurs,

You might be inputting integers rather than fractions. Try more subtle values like 1/8.

Spot on Dan, Thanks. Do you know if I can select all grace note slurs and change them all at the same time?

You can select all slurs using Select More, but not grace note slurs only, as far as I know.

But in that case, I’d just change the global thickness in Engraving Options.
