I’m in an old project, and try to “thin data” on my midi CC… initially it gave a popup and crashed cubase, but now it simply won’t thin the data on existing tracks.
When I create a new midi track, it will thin the new CC just fine.
Tried (on the old tracks), but didn’t help:
- exporting/importing midi tracks
- did a “backup” of the project and tried there.
- copied old CC data into new track
- switch all CC to/from step/ramp
Update.
My track has a LOT of CC (volume) data. When I delete most of it, and try to “thin” just the first bar’s worth of CC, it thins it ok.
Strangely, I created a new track, added a lot of CC data, and tried thinning and it thinned the whole track just fine.
Basically, I need to de-corrupt the original tracks somehow.
(also odd, seems when I select a small section of cc data, sometimes it thins only that section, sometimes the whole track..)
attached is the crash dump
