Is it possible to condense these three lines on one staff ?

Hi @joakimsandgren, you can create a Condensing Group in Layout Options>Players>Condensing, or create a Condensing Change and define your desired condensing in the Manual Condensing panel of that dialogue. Be aware of the pitch crossings and unisons, and possibly set the desired Notation Options>Condensing, or change the settings in the Condensing Change.
Here an example with two condensing changes to show better the voices couples:
Dorico file example:
condensing changes.dorico (1.4 MB)
If you upload a Dorico file example with the different situations (also with different rhythms between the players), we can give more specific advices.
Ah. But I tried exactly this actually…
I’ll come back to you shortly with a stripped project.
Thank you !

I’ve managed in one place.
but not in another.
this case works only if I do a frame break two measures from the end. then I have the 3 voices on one stave.
I’ve tried to put a condensing change reset at the marked 6/8 measure but it doesn’t bite…
vs
must I do the (too early) frame break ?
Without the file itself is difficult to say. Please post a cut-down version that shows this issue.
yes of course !
sorry,
this is just at the beginning. vln 1
Ha!
I did exactly the same but I clicked on the first note, not the first paus of the measure (or, where did you start ?).
done ! perfect. thank you !!!
Bonus : if you look at 154-159 in the score I have a divisi 3 that goes to a divisi 2.
and if you look in the part, on the same three stave system I still have the solution for a divisi 2 on three staves: I put a div. on the third staff.
in galley view I put the octaves on the third staff before I put the divisi 2.
like that I can have a three stave solution in the part and a completely transparent div.3 to div.2 representation in the score (in the real score this was before a page turn).
all by chance of course, but I’ll try to keep this in mind..
thank you very very much !!

You’re welcome. And yes, I put it at the very beginning.
Smart solution for the div3/2 passage, worth remembering.
