I read that tick barline properties panel in engrave mode should let you change the length of it. Nothing comes up in the properties panel when I have the barline selected. Am I missing something?
It’s in Engrave options, barline settings section. (I was thinking about dashed barlines. See the response from benwiggy).
It has to be a “manual” tick.
E.g., if you just change the default barline style in Notation Options to Tick, then you won’t see it.
You have to add a manual Tick barline, and then you’ll see the Properties in the lower panel.
Once you’ve changed a manual one, all the rest will follow in the same style.
I observed that the properties panel shows different things for the final barline.
(I’m making theory assignments and just need one flow to end with no barline.)
Thank you! I forgot that notation options can be set for specific flows, but not layout options.
