I cannot find a way to tie to a previous note. Is there a shortcut?
If you enter one note, then press T before you enter the next note, then it will tie those two notes together when you add the second note.
Otherwise, press left arrow, then T.
Thanks! Yes obviously, sometimes though it’s handy to be able to tie in reverse order (with a shortcut)
You can’t tie backwards, but you can move the caret back and forth with arrow keys to pick up your tie and resume entry without having to leave note input.
You can also select any two notes of the same pitch and tie them that way after input too.
You can also create the tie automatically if you’re and the end of a bar and the note is longer than would fit in the remainder of the bar, it will create two notes tied across the bar line automatically.
