Tied notes as individual notes?

Hi, is there any way to treat tied notes as individual notes? Sometimes I just want to untie a single note from a multimeasure held note and I have to untie everything and the make the changes, discover I didn’t like it, so I have to untie and retie constantly. Also, When I’m en mass, I click at the end of a phrase not at the beginning of the last tied note. So I’m constantly trying to make multiple highlighted selection to find myself unselecting everything by accident because I clicked on the wrong place (though the most intuitive one).

yes. enter into note entry mode, advance the caret where you want the break, and type u

Pressing U outside of Note Entry will untie all ties on the selected note(s).

Also, Opt U will split any note into the current grid duration!
