When a new flow starts, the bar number starts over with 1, which makes sense. The time, however, continues to count from the start. I would like to know the time per movement (flow). Is there a way to toggle the time counter to show either total time, or time for the current flow?
Yes, single click on the Transport Window (top right) until the timecode for the current Flow appears.
I don’t think you can change the display in the status bar, but you can toggle the display in the transport toolbar, which tells you the current location of the playhead.
In order to get this to work, you need to select something in the score and set the playhead to that location. Pressing P twice (to start and stop playback) does the trick. The help file says that Alt/Opt+P will also set the playhead position to the current selection, but on Windows, Alt+P is the built-in shortcut key for opening the Script menu.
Same thing works in the transport toolbar, btw.
