Time signature in clef

Hi, I’d like to insert a time signature over the measures in just one flow of a project, but if I change it, the graphics for all the flows change.
Is there a way?

thank you for your post.
There are two things that are not easy to understand:

  1. You select a note. You add the Time Signature *). It will be automatically positioned above the stave.
  2. You are mentioning graphics in other flows. Which graphics do you refer to?

Ciao @Domenico_Napolitano, the Time Signature position is a Layout specific option. If you need to have different TS position/s only for a specific flow/s, you could follow this workaround:

  • when you are finished with entering and editing your music and layout, duplicate your layout (for example the Full score) in setup mode, rename it appropriately
  • (it is better to lock the layout (in Engrave mode) before changing the layout option, to avoid that the different TS position influences the pages numbering between the two layouts)
  • apply the desired TS position on this duplicate layout
  • export both the original and the duplicated layouts as PDF
  • combine the pages of the 2 PDF, so that you have the desired TS on each flow (you should be able to do this in any PDF editor)

This only works if the flow where you want to change the TS position is at the start of a page.

For parts you can use the same procedure, but it is more work of course…

(maybe someone else has a better idea…)

Thanks, it’s definitely an effective solution, but I was hoping for something simpler and more immediate
