EDIT: Solved. I found it. Change the Object Selection tool type to “Sizing Applies Time-Stretch”. Perfect!
ORIGINAL PROBLEM:
I have a midi clip in a section of my tune that I played at a slightly different tempo than the grid. I want to warp only the part of the grid that currently contains this midi clip. When I try to warp, the entire grid is changing, even with the clip selected and the region along the timeline covering the clip selected also.
It is ok if there are notes off the corrected grid in places, as that is how I played the part. I do NOT want to tempo detect for this. I just want to slide the grid to fit the length of the part.
Essentially, I want to slightly speed up the part by moving the grid to fit it so as to have the clip cover the correct number of bars (it’s one bar too long).
