I’m trying to align beats from a tempo track (I used tempo detection) to an audio track using the time warp tool. It gets a great deal of the job done, but sometimes it misalignes a few beats and on the next few beats, it gets back on tempo. This sometimes causes a problem: it skips a beat (or more, if it happens a few times).
As I’m using the time warp tool to align every beat to the track, this skipped beat creates a “hole”, meaning you have to time warp every beat back to the place of the missing beat, which means you ruined the tempo detection’s work from that point onwards.
Is there any way to add a beat in between two existing beats?
