is it possible to put a timecode timestamp on an exported .wav file (or other format) so that when someone else brings it in to their computer (non-Cubase), the file will automatically be synced up according to the timecode?
Xport in “Wave” format and check the relevant box in the xport window.
I think it says “Insert Broadcast Wave Chunk.”
Broadcast waves include a time stamp.
On the receiving end, they would need to import
to “origin” or whatever terminology the other program uses.
I’ve done this going the other way, Protools to Nuendo and it worked perfectly.
