Timeline On Score

Hello!

Let’s say, we have this piece nicely laid out, with various rehearsal marks etc.

Is there a “timeline feature” in write mode, where i can click on a particular rehearsal mark, and go directly to that section?

Thank you!

(Daniel, you and the team really raised the bar with “the other programme”.)

No. There’s Cmd/Ctrl+G which will take you to any bar number in any flow, and if you select one rehearsal mark on the screen and press the right or left arrow key on your keyboard you’ll be transported to the next or previous rehearsal mark.

Thank you again, but Cmd+G doesn’t work. Opt+G moves the rehearsal mark in the direction of the arrow you use. Adding Shift doesn’t help.

Hmmm

No, these are two separate functions.
Cmd/Ctrl+G takes you to any bar in any flow.
Separately to this, if you select a rehearsal mark and just press the right or left button on your keyboard, Dorico will navigate to the next or previous rehearsal mark.

Yes. That works.

Separately to this, if you select a rehearsal mark and just press the right or left button on your keyboard, Dorico will navigate to the next or previous rehearsal mark.

No. That doesn’t work. Is that something that you set up for yourself?
Thanx, again!

It doesn’t always work in every circumstance in Dorico 3.0.10, but it will work in many more circumstances in the forthcoming Dorico 3.1 update.

Thanx for coming in, Daniel! (Where’s that “thumbs up” gremlin?)
