Timeline starting with the left locator

Hi

I never start my projects right away and give them a little air at the beginning of the arrangement, meaning that the song does not start at 0:00 minutes.

If a customer writes me back a time in his audio file to make a correction in the arrangement, naturally the time does not fit.

Question: Is there a function to show the exact time between the left locator and the “position line”?

Does this help maybe? (project start and the various offsets)

Project Setup Dialog • Cubase Elements Help • Reader • Steinberg

Hi,

another way to do it is via ruler tracks

You can insert a ruler track and adjust the time offset accordingly.

When you know where to look and how to solve it is easy

It is a bit complicated to write the right time as the zero point of the song but a possible way and very helpful. Thank you so much for your quick and helpful response.

I use the Ruler method. Very comfortable.

Hi Johnny

Meaning? Can you describe your method?

Johnny was referring to my post from above

You probably missed it. I noticed that we were both typing at the same time when I posted it
