What is the most efficient way to change the rehearsal marker (currently representative of m. 9) into a time stamp of my choosing (e.g., 4’33”, 1’23”)? I would like to avoid making a text box via Shift + X, if possible. I understand that this is easier with words such as CHORUS or VERSE through the use of the “integer” feature, but it seems that numbers do not have that same ability.
I don’t think you can change rehearsal marks to time code, but you can use markers instead. Select the position and do alt/opt + p so that the playline jumps to the position, and then alt/opt + shift + M to create a marker. There are some Engraving Options under markers and properties under video in the right panel. Also, Layout Options→Markers and Time code. There are two font styles for markers. N.B. If you change tempo, all the markers will move, or if you move the marker, the tempo will change, so perhaps insert them as a last step. (the shortcut to create markers might be my own, it’s in the write menu)
