Timestretch question

Hi,

Is there a way in Nuendo to grab an audioblock and stretch or compress it without Nuendo doing anything first? I mean this would give you the possibility to first get the desired result before Nuendo starts crunching and interups the process of getting it perfect. Especially when you have the algorythm set to Mix - Complex Musical and a file of 8m it takes ages ! to adjust it

I don’t know if I understand your problem correctly. So you want time stretching without actual time stretching? To get the duration correct before processing starts?

Not by dragging. But select the clip, then go Audio - process - time stretch. Set your length etc. Then apply.
