I cannot reproduce this problem (even with your settings).
I note that you are using some extreme value: 1000% time stretch
And applied on a 1 hour file.
The last picture seems to imply that WaveLab was not able to create the file. You can of course undo to come back to the previous state.
Could it be that you run out of disk space?
The file should be shorter, imho.
(and no, surely not running out of disk space)
When setting the Maximum Stretch Factor to 100.00000%, all the marks on the left turn into 100%. This seems odd, imho.
yes, never, there is a large file to generate.
BTW, I also note that, while you have a stereo file, you apply the time stretching on a single channel. This should work anyway.
Did you try on a smaller file?
I don’t understand.
When setting the Time Stretch below 100%, it should speed up, right?
So, the file in itself becomes shorter, imho. (there might be intermediates, that are larger, but this should not matter here with 64 GB ram, over 200GB free space on ssd)
I tried in stereo, still the same, all black, all gone. Undo works, though.
When shortening the file, it works.
2,4 GB should not be a problem, right?
not working: 32 bit 96000 Hz size 2.006.855.814 Bytes, wav
working as expected: 24 bit 48000 Hz size 752.570.918 Bytes, wav
