Quick question: Is there a way to change the speed/timing of glissandos?

Here is some information about glissando playback options:

I don’t think you can control the speed, although I might be mistaken. You can at least delay when the glissando starts.

Ah, cool. But the target note will always be on the beat?

Wouldn’t the number of sounding notes between the upper and lower limits of the glissando, and the tempo of the measure(s), automatically determine the speed of the glissando, barring a delayed start?

A quick explanation is in order: I’m experimenting with using glissandos as a native replacement for guitar slides, which, in reality, that’s what they are anyway…
I just tried with the delay of the glissando, but in my case it really makes no difference, even if I set delay to something like 10…

And here are also two little related feature requests:

  1. Could the list of available glissando text be expanded to display an “s” or “sl.” and maybe a “slide”?
  2. Could glissando lines send a Playback Technique?
