Would it be possible, just allow just a tiny bit even smaller minimum-size for bottom-row, or that would be dangerous from other aspects (that I will accept of course). Needless to mention, the piano-roll is also needless for automation drawing too. Maybe an IF condition
(something like: IF view is NOTES or AUTOMATION allowed-minimum-height is “verysmall”)

… ah, sorry. A Splitter is already there. Maybe we misunderstand each other.
You want to resize the NOTES tab to a minimum of 100, the AUTOMATION tab to 150 and so on. So each tab should have a different minimum height? That’s not that easy …

No, no, not that complicated of course, would be too much effort for nothing.
On laptop every wasted cm counts.
For [Sampler, Mixer, MIDI, DMX] I understand lowering currency allowed-minimum-size would screw everything.
But for NOTES (even AUTOM) the half would also suffice (you can’t use piano roll for autom… worthless waste of centimeters)
I would say that notes very often are some words per line, if you use it like a script for show - using timestamp and few words what to do or what should happen. It means that we use 1/4 of the width of Notes. It could fit in Right or Left zones if Notes (and some other pages) could be dockable to those beds (left zone under the list of songs, right zone in the third page named Others after Mediabay and Plugins, and it could be split for multiple pages that will be dragged to dock there).
Of course, I can’t afford to burden the team with extra work, especially during this Summer Solstice, but it would be nice to have that flexibility in the near future. Like it is in WaveLab - almost everything is dockable. And then @fkalmus (and all others including me) could resize anything to desired size and it would be stored in project, not as default to all projects.
Where else is such docking/splitting? In Halion sampler! You see, we have samples in the Steinberg product family.

Exactly, that is what I love with this button-row.
However I just would like ask for a possible smaller allowed-minimum-height (~1/2 height of current) for:
- NOTES tab
- …and AUTOMATION tab
No more, no any other fancy solutions, I love as it is 
(just takes a bit tooo much from screen)
