Tip: How to transpose notes in key editor to fit chords in Chord track

This tip is helpful in case you have a midi event and want to move notes to fit your chords in Chord track:
The LE select the notes out of scale:

The PLE combines this selection with the up arrow key to move those notes 1 semitone up, if they still not fit the scale you can just press again the PLE key command.

You just need to select the event once and nothing else needed.
This can also be made to fit notes in chords modifying the LE to fit the chord instead of the scale of the chord.

Attached are the files, anyway they are so easy to build…
select notes out of scale.xml (3.7 KB)

Hi,

Or you can open the Chords tab of the given MIDI/Instrument track, set Follow Chord Track to Chords & Scale (or Chords or Scale), and then in the Follow Chord Track window select the Follow Directly and click OK.

This will transpose the MIDI Notes of the given MIDI/Instrument Track to follow the Chords/Scale.

sure for some scenarios that is better but maybe I dont want the whole track to follow the Chord track.
My tip is just one key stroke.
