Hello, I would like to make a complextro song. I am in the beginning stages of learning Cubase, I’d like to hear any tips on how to create “Complextro” and how to get the very cut up and separated sound when the actual complexity of the complextro song kicks in?
Try using the Arranger Track to try out ideas by creating 1/4 or 1/8 bar Arranger Track events to mix and match short segments and try out ideas. Also, another thing that helps me is the fact that I have (almost) all my musical samples tagged by key in Mediabay. So when I’m doing complextro type stuff its easy for me to find little bits I can use that are in key.
