John calls up a list by right clicking in the text field. When I right click (Pro 5) I get only a list with three options (filter, bar numbers, staff size) which have nothing to do with tokens.
I can call up a list in the text menu:

but then I still have to type in the tokens which, despite the {@ are not recognized by Dorico and the project info is not filled in automatically. What am I missing?

Are you typing into a text frame, or a Shift X Text panel?

You can only add tokens to a text frame, not to staff attached text.

Thanks. Text frame. I try to meticulously follow the explication and it is going alright until this point.

Can you show us a bit more of a screenshot?

OT: @leonardbiliau, I corrected the typo in your thread title. Hope you don’t mind!

Very attentive, thanks

When making a screenshot pop ups disappear. The problem I have is that I don’t get the correct list with tokens as John calls up. If you click at the YT link in my post and scroll to 9.49 min you’ll see exactly what I mean.

You should be able to double-click in a text frame, to edit the contents, and then right click in the text frame.

That suggests you’re right-clicking in a MUSIC Frame, not a text frame.

The blinking text cursor needs to be active inside the text frame, in order for the context menu to show you tokens.

Lillie, you’re great! It appears that you first have to call up the text dialogue, then right click for the list. It will fill in the token and by closing the text dialogue fill in the relative text from the project info.

There’s a note about this that mentions the cursor on the page about Tokens in the manual.
