Is it possible to save a Page Template for Title Pages? I always use the same title page setup on all my published works. Wondering if there is a way to save the setup?
Thanks.
You can export Page Template Sets which will also include the First and default Templates. Then import them to any Project.
Yes, one can create a Title Page Template (as well as blank pages with running headers and small Roman numeral page numbers for front matter.
I usually append them at the end of my file so they will not affect page formatting and then move them to the front in a PDF editing program.
You can’t change the page template sets that new projects start with by default, but you could for example save a project with your title page in it as a project template, which should (unless I’m misremembering terribly) include the page templates set up in that project when you start new projects from that project template.
@FredGUnn has found a way to add one custom set of Page Templates to the Default Libraries Additions folder that allows the custom set to replace one’s default set of Page Templates.
Yep, I posted a walkthrough in this thread on how to do it.
