I’m helping a composer with a chart that they started in Finale just before finale’s finale. When I turn on condensing I get multiple “tutti” making other items move to not so great locations (see photo). I’m only condensing in the ‘condensed score’ layout, i.e. the parts themselves are not condensed so they all need the ‘tutti’ marking. All the “tutti” are classified as text, but are there any tips how to only have one ‘tutti’ in the condensed score other than just manually making it invisible in Engrave mode?
The “tutti”’text additions (or playing techniques) are probably slightly misplaced between the systems.
In Galley View make sure to delete the second one, then select the first one and “Duplicate to system below”.
One question? Why do you / the composer need the “tutti” remarks? Aren’t they superfluous?
Or does he expect to have double winds, like 8 horns or 8 trumpets?

As you can see, Dorico has automatically created “a 2” labels anyway. If they are for the same purpose, then delete the manual ones and let Dorico do the work.
