TOOLS for MR for Mac updated to version 1.7.1

Dear customers,

I’m happy to announce that today we released an update update of the TOOLS for MR for Mac for the MR816 CSX and MR816 X Advanced Integration DSP Studio.

This update includes the following main revisions and enhancements:

For Mac 32/64 bit:

  • The performance of the MR Extension has been improved which results into a better overall performance.

I’ve updated, but the driver still shows it as being 1.7.0 … is this just that you didn’t update the release number?

Hi spectrumproductions,

The Tools for MR consist of three components:

  • Yamaha Steinberg FW driver
  • Steinberg Extension
  • Steinberg MR Editor

In the Version 1.7.1 for MAc only the MR Extension were updated, since they were causing the performance issues.
If you take a look in thedownload area or the release notes you will se that version 1.7.1 of “TOOLS for MR” for Mac includes:

  • Yamaha Steinberg FW driver V.1.7.0
  • Steinberg MR Extension V.1.7.1
  • Steinberg MR Editor V.1.6.0

So the driver is still showing version 1.7.0.
