TouchOSC responding to Cubase?

I have a TouchOsc template that’s working great. It has, for example, a slider for CC 7 (Volume). When I move the TouchOSC slider, I successfully record those CC7’s in my MIDI track. When I play it back, it would be great if the TouchOSC slider moved according to the CC7 messages. It’s not.

I have both in/out enabled in Studio | Studio Setup | MIDI port setup. I’ve tried using Midi Send (in the Inspector) set to ‘no effect’ and routed to TouchOSC… The fader doesn’t budge.

What am I missing? Thanks!

I’m not a gun at this by any means, but I think you need to send a byte message back. Also, how have you got the two connected? I’d do a simple generic remote and set the flags to send and receive
