Track color in folder

Smaller request: why does Cubase ignore my choice in “Track Color” when adding a track inside a folder?

I understand default should be the same as the folder, but my expected behavior would be,

  • Shown Track Color is the color of the track
  • I can change it if I want to
  • Applied Track color is then the one finally selected?

I was told by the support team that this is happening because of my system: m4 pro & Tahoe 26.2, otherwise Cubase works perfectly.

Very bizarre that this is linked to your system type. I’m on 8th gen Intel

BTW, tracks are also recolored when they are dragged to another position within the folder
