My P1-M doesn’t update to update to new FW.
I tried it with I-MAP 1.15 and 1.16 on 2 different computers.
All behave same same.
I once had an issue where my P1-X was mistakenly recognized as a P1-M, which prevented me from updating the firmware. To resolve it, I used this solution, and I think it might work for you as well:

Run the latest version of the proper iMap

Only connect/turn onthe device you want to update

Select the proper product model at the top-right

Then click and go to the “Firmware Upgrade” view

Shutdown your unit

Then click any blank place in this view (except the title bar), and then press ‘T’ on your keyboard

If it’s OK, you will see the text of “Firmware Upgrade.” on the title bar (notice there is a dot)

then click “Start” button in Step 1

turn on your unit again in 3 secs after you click “Start” button

Complete the firmware upgrade then your device will come back

I got it sorted (a while ago), but it was a long journey.
After trying on 3 different Windows 11 computer/notebooks, what didn’t work,
I tried it with my work computer (W10 Notebook) and it worked immediately.
