I am making a copy of a range of audio bars in a track and pasting later in the same track. The track has a Track Delay of -250ms to allow the imported audio file to align with the bars and beats.
After the paste, in the bar before the pasted bars the last beat is corrupted - rogue note or silence or changed tone.
To explain - if I have the following bars: ABCDEFG and I copy A and B and paste them after bar E then bar E is corrupted - presumably because the track delay is negative (?).
I have tried without the track delay (on a different project) and it works fine.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks, Stephen
Hi and welcome to the forum,
How exactly do you select them? Do you mean Audio Events? Do you select them by using the Object Selection tool or the Range Selection tool?
Are you talking about Audio Tracks, right?
What exactly does it mean? How exactly are they corrupted? Could you be more specific, please?
Hi Martin. Yes, audio tracks. I am selecting bars using the Range Selection Tool.
4 beats in a bar. The 4th beat in the bar before the pasted bars is changed during the paste operation. The change depends on what instrument is on the track. I have a bass track where the note changes, a guitar track where the tone changes. Hard to describe, but the point is the audio content in the bar is changed. Since it is in the bar BEFORE the bars I paste in, my instinct tells me the Track Delay of -250ms may be causing the issue, i.e. due to a bug in the software.
