Track delay on individual articulations in expression maps

I am new to orchestration and thus have recently found out about track delay for slower attack notes in virtual instruments. Someone on this thread (How to deal with orchestral sample timing (slower attack)? | VI-CONTROL) said the following and I am wondering if there is a way to do this in Cubase:

"In Logic I use a script which recognizes the articulation type and sets a corresponding positive delay.

Example:

Pizzicatos need to be -50 ms early
Legatos need to be -100 ms early
Staccatos need to be -60 ms early

The most delay is -100 for legatos so the track is set to -100

Then the script recognizes:

Legatos - add 0ms delay (so it goes through at -100)
Staccatos - add +40ms delay (so it goes through at net -60)
Pizzicatos - add +50ms delay (so it goes through at net -50"

What I want to be able to do is have different articulations is expression maps trigger a different track delay. Is there something in logical editor or some other weird thing that could make this happen?
Thanks.

Hi,

I don’t think this is possible. The only one solution would be to have an articulation per track. Then you can use the Track Delay parameter.

Thanks for the reply. That’s what I figured. But I decided to ask anyway.

I have same thoughts. It’s really necessary. Maybe on Cubase 11?
