I use track divide in my workflow, with busses and print tracks on the top half and mix tracks on the bottom half. I use Q Link constantly. I also use track selection follows event selection to activate my tracks so my mixer track is then selected.
The problem I have is that if I select a buss or print tracks for some reason above the divide line, then grab a clip below, it does not de-activate the track above the divide line and when I do my next mix pass it writes automation on the buss or track still selected above the line as well as the track I actually wish to mix below the divide. This leads to unintentional automation writes to important busses etc.
When selecting a clip below the divide, the channel above the divide should be automatically de-selected like it would be if it were below the divide.
I can’t see why this behaviour would be intentional. It feels like a nasty bug.
