Track Freezing in AI5

I don’t see any mention of track freezing in the manuals for AI5. Is this feature really missing?

I use some CPU heavy plugins and other DAWS I’ve worked with (Live and Reaper) both allow freezing to free up CPU.

I love the tight integration with my Motif, but I need to be able to freeze tracks.

I could be wrong but I think you have to have Cubase 6 - “VST Instruments” for the Freezing option.
I Don’t think the LE versions have VST Instruments.
It’s certainly not in my Cubase Le4 version.

As a workaround you will need to export and import the Tracks/vsti’s, then disable any plugs/vsti’s.
