Track Inspector: Its been years...why is pinning still not working(?)

This has been reported a number of times since v10. Its now v15 and still not fixed, you are joking? Isnt this essential? It wastes so many clicks and fatigue tbh

Pinning
There is a nice tool for setting up inspectors right?

Nice idea but I cant get it to work

I generally only use track inspector as per the following but I simply want, this arrangement of widgets etc to be across every track other than flipping out hidden ones every now and then.
How does everyone else manage this while pinning is not working…or is it v15?

Please @Steinberg (assuming Im not missing something) please start fixing important stuff. UX is paramount

NOTE: For anyone else, there is no mention in the manual of how to pin the greyed “Basics” as no matter what I did, it would not show the pin icon item: I then ctrl+alt and it turned on, Now it just works as normal…weird

Im not sure what happened…but it seems workingnow? I saved some new presets while I was testing and now its seems ok.Youll see my posts about it all over the forum along with other of the same issue eg keyboard shortcuts just go missing and back to default…its not the first time its done stuff like this.

I do have one question; where are these presets stored?
It still has the unintuitive close of tabs and you have to manually turn them back on in the track you initiated the pin editor from

Hi,
Cubase Key Commands are stored here on Windows:
AppData / Roaming / Steinberg / Cubase xy / Presets / Key Commands / Key Commands.xml

They are also part of Profiles. Moreover, Profiles also include your Track Control Settings. All the more reason to use this underrated feature

You most probably know: Track control settings must be set up per track type.

You have mentioned before …i def agree as it would create a solid updateable snapshot:sob:
