Track Merge Errors - structure too complex

I’m importing a lot of AAF’s and merging 2 tracks to stereo pairs which is becoming a massive pain due to the warning “the event structure on the selected tracks is too complex”.

I spend huge amounts of time manually checking each cut and fade on the tracks in question before being able to merge.

I do need to bounce the pairs due to plugin processing that i apply.

Would it be possible to have some sort of option that can tweak the questionable track in the pair to match the other track. The good track could be user definable. It is quite arduous having to check each track under a microcope in a 45 min heavily cut session with 25 stereo pairs.

I’m sure these errors are caused by the video editing system creating the AAF but it is quite common and would love it if Nuendo could offer a fix.

Even a more detailed warning that tells the user where the errors are would be useful.

yes this is still a mess.

I have been zooming in and manually fixing all the edits and fades until the match which tskes a very long time. Occasionally the error is so small i can’t find it and need to bounce the files before combining the tracks , but of course lose the abilty to fix any bad edits.
