Just a simple question on track presets: I’m testing some and can’t understand why the compressor is on the insert instead of in the channel strip. Wouldn’t it fit better? I can’t find any real difference between applying an effect on the channel strip or on the insert, so it’s a bit confusing for a newbie.
maybe the presets are from an earlier version without channel strip compressor
