Track selection with up/down keys not working on Cubase 13.0.30 Pro

On MacBook M3, Sonoma 14.4.1, Cubase 13.0.3

Navigation up/down with selection of tracks on project (arrange) window is not possible with up/down arrows (only a system alert sound is produced).

If I hold down Shift and hit an up/down arrow key, multiple tracks are selected but when Shift is released, the system alert sound is produced again.

In
Preferences > Editor > Use Up/Down Nav Commands for Set Tracks Only
being ticked or not makes no difference.

No key commands are assigned to the up/down arrows.

Any idea if this is related to using a laptop or a potential bug to be reported?

I have a 16" MacBook Pro M2 Max , Sonoma 14.4.1, Cubase Pro 13.0.30 running under Rosetta 2 and don’t have that issue.
You don’t say if you are using Rosetta ?

Not using Rosetta (the build is CB13 Apple Silicon).

I have however noted that if I create Key Commands for the up/down arrows as below, then the navigation works as expected.

Maybe someone can confirm, but this could be a requirement for the navigation (ie, having Key Commands assigned to the arrows).

I thought the up/down arrow navigation was an inherent keyboard mapping of CB that wouldn’t require associated Key Commands.
