Track Template not retaining Musical Time Base

Hello!
Just switched to Windows for good and picked N13 as my main DAW for game audio.
I’m slowly setting everything up from scratch and I’m creating track templates.
When saving both Audio and Inst track templates I turn Musical Time base on since it’s the most obvious choice but when recalling the track template it’s back to Linear (not even sure what’s the application of Linear yet)

Is this normal?

Still getting my head around on how Nuendo is designed
Thanks!!

When you create a project from a template, the tracks, for all intents and purposes are new, not strictly clones of the tracks in the template, therefore the newly created tracks will follow the option you have selected in Preferences, under Editing: “Default Track Time Type” preceded by a drop down menu which lets you choose Musical, if that is more in line with what you’re doing. Set this option, make a new project using your template of choice and it should create all of those tracks with the Musical time base.

Edit: I should add, if you didn’t know, there is a PLE preset that will toggle the time base of multiple tracks, so you don’t have to change them all manually if you find yourself in such a situation.

Thank you so much Sem
solved and thanks for the heads up on the PLE. Need to know more about it.
Much appreciated
