Not sure if this is possible, I often find myself using the up down arrows to move between tracks and in fact I’m on a different window and moving up or down something else.
it would be really nice to have a up/down button that brings the main arrange window into focus, and then moves up /down or which ever you’ve pressed.
Preference: Editing - Use Up/Down Navigation Commands for Selecting Tracks only
I think it should do the job.
I have that selected already, I tried on selecting it. I’m not sure I can see any difference.
What I’m looking for which ever screen plug-in or window I have selected I can have up-and-down arrows that refocus the range window so that they start moving up and down without me having to click the mouse first on a track

So it needs focus to work, that’s unfortunate.
You could assign two macros to up and down if youreally want this. Bring project to front + navigate up/down.
But I don’t know how open editor and plugin windows would react.
I have tried that before , I think Audible system blip ( On MAC) when you bring project to front put me off , but that’s a good idea thx
