Tracking key signatures at repeats

I’m not sure what the current status is as far as official support for cautionary key signatures/time signatures at repeats, but I’m getting an odd collision when using the “Track” option in “Clefs and key signatures in repeat structures” box in Notation Options. I have a piece with a double repeat barline, at which the key and time signatures change (both for the repeat itself and when moving ahead after the second pass):

Changing the Notation Options setting to “Track” results in this:

As you can see, the cautionary key and time sig move to before the repeat barline, which is what I want, BUT they collide with the whole rests. Why?

Check for an overfilled system in Engrave mode, or post that section of your Dorico file so we can see what is happening.

I can reproduce this. Seems like something isn’t working correctly.

Indeed, it has been mentionned:

Dorico 6.20 glitch?

Unfortunately this is an existing limitation of Dorico’s spacing of empty bars when handling things that protrude from the left of the barline. It isn’t specific to the new cautionary feature - something similar can happen with e.g. Russian-style key signature cancellations.
