Hi everybody,
is there a way to set a default input for MIDI/instrument tracks when adding them? Do I have to create a preset track? I would be happy not to have to set it every time (if I’m not using my project template or I need to add more tracks).

Hi,
As far as I know, by default it chooses the first MIDI Port from the list (after fresh Cubase start), or the last used MIDI Port.
Track Preset creation is definitely a good choice here.

if I add a secon track it actually becomes equal to the first one I created but the first always is set to All MIDI Inputs…
