Hey all, I’ve recently purchased trailer brass and strings for Kontakt 8. I’ve dragged them into the full version of kontakt and they’re there i guess but all i can do is press keys. It doesn’t get added as a proper library and there’s no way for me to get it into cubase/it doesn’t show up when I create a new VST track and select kontakt, it’s as if it doesn’t exist. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Could you be more sure, please? Can you load the instrument and play it in the standalone version?
Yes in standalone Kontakt it loads and plays when I press the notes on screen (it doesn’t play through my MIDI keyboard). It just doesn’t exist in the library in Cubase.
Kontakt libraries do not show in Cubase’s Media Bay if that’s what you mean. They have to be loaded from the Kontakt instrument itself.
Thank you but I’m aware of that. I mean when I load Kontakt as an instrument it doesn’t appear within the kontakt libraries
It loads in kontakt standalone, but doesn’t save into the library or anything. And it doesn’t show up on cubase
I’ve found the solution, You have to import the folders via settings and not just drag them in
